Employment With The EPA

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a policy of open recruitment and is an equal opportunities employer.

All our recruitment is competency-based and vacancies are advertised in the business supplements of the Irish national newspapers and on our website at Current Vacancies.  A guide to the EPA Recruitment and Selection Process can be downloaded here.

Work Permits

Work permits are required for non-EEA nationals.  The EEA member states are the 27 EU states plus Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein. Work permits are granted for a non-EEA national where the employer can satisfy the relevant authorities that there is no suitable applicant from within the EEA.

Work Placements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is participating in the Fás Graduate Work Placement Programme.  We will have a number of vacancies on this programme in the near future.  Vacancies will be advertised on www.fas.ie
