EPA prosecutes three Directors of Waste Recovery Services (Fermoy) Limited

On 28 October 2011 the Environmental Protection Agency prosecuted three Directors of Waste Recovery Services (Fermoy) Limited at Fermoy District Court.  The three Directors pleaded guilty to accepting, within the period 1 January 2010 and 31 December 2010, a tonnage of waste at the facility which exceeded the maximum annual tonnage.

On hearing details of the offences the Judge imposed a fine of €1,000 on each of the three Directors.
