Pumping Station overflow resulted in fish kills in the Twopothouse and Curraheen Rivers in Cork. - Aug 19 2016, 1:03 PM
On the 29th July 2016, the EPA received notification from Irish Water of the overflow discharge of untreated sewage from the Curraheen Estate Pump Station to the Twopothouse River in Bishopstown, Cork.

On 18 May 2016 the EPA received notification from Irish Water of the overflow discharge of screened untreated sewage from the Dublin Road Pump Station to the Bracken Stream in Balbriggan.
Advice for Private Well Owners Affected by Flooding - Dec 11 2015, 11:58 AM
The EPA recommends that if your well has been affected by the recent flooding you should make sure it is properly disinfected before using it for drinking water. Details of how you can disinfect your well are below. This procedure should be carried out once the flooding has subsided.

Statement from the EPA regarding release of SKM Enviros report on the evaluation of environmental liabilities at Kerdiffstown Landfill - Feb 03 2011, 10:44 AM
The Environmental Protection Agency commissioned an independent expert consultant SKM Enviros to conduct an evaluation of the potential liabilities and related remedial costs associated with closure scenarios for the Kerdiffstown landfill site. The report was commissioned in conjunction with a number of legal actions taken by the Agency against the operators of the Kerdiffstown site. This report was completed in October 2010.
