EPA survey shows dioxin levels in the Irish Environment remain well below EU limits - Jan 09 2014, 11:00 AM
The latest Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) report on dioxin levels in the Irish environment shows that dioxin levels in all of the samples taken in a 2012 survey were well below the relevant EU limits.
Fire at Oxigen Environmental Waste Facility, Ballymount, Dublin 22 - Jan 27 2014, 4:40 PM
The EPA was informed on the 25th January 2014 of a serious fire at the Oxigen Environmental Waste Facility in Ballymount, Dublin and has attended the site each day. In coordination with the Gardaí, Dublin Fire Brigade is managing the incident. There is a significant reduction in smoke from the facility today.
