Following on from the introduction of the revised local authority performance framework, the EPA has commenced a programme of audits of local authorities These audits focus on assessing progress against the national enforcement priorities and offer advice and support to help improve statutory performance if required. The audits are carried out in accordance with Section 63(2) of the Environmental Protection Agency Acts 1992 and 2003.
