EPA Forum on Food Waste 2023
On 9th November 2023, an online Forum was held with the theme Countdown to 2030: together against food waste. Ireland will only meet its food waste reduction target if all stakeholders across the food supply chain are working together and take collective responsibility. The Food Waste Charter, a voluntary agreement, has the commitment of two Government Departments, five State Agencies and several champion businesses. The event saw a call to food sector businesses to join the collective and commit to the Charter - now is the time for action.
