Project Abstract
The Research Survey will underpin efforts to define a more comprehensive description of Nordic Seas ecosystem and will provide transformative insight into how essential climate variables (ECVs) are recorded in geologic archives. These will aid our understanding of short and long-term processes linked to current and past climate change and their impact on Arctic ecosystems. The innovative methodologies and unique research strategy employed to decipher the geochemical signature recorded in foraminifera will provide material and information to guide the development of future funding and expand our collaborative networks.
