Project Abstract

Climate change is having significant environmental effects locally and worldwide. iCRAG2 brings together 150+ earth and social scientists to understand these changes by studying Irelands geological history and examining what is happening now to better predict the future. We will provide information on how to manage climate change effects, help industry to find metals, building materials and the energy to power the country, and assist in ensuring that Ireland has reliable clean water sources. iCRAG2s goal is to provide information about the earth that will support the economy, society, and help Ireland meet its environmental and climate change goals.
