Project Abstract
As a consequence of committing to environmental improvements across our business through our Environmental Charter we want to examine the feasibility of successfully registering some of our i'own-brandi products.By undertaking this study we hope to achieve:1.Quantification and monitoring of the environmental impacts of the production of our i' own-brandi tissue products;2.Assessing what the appropriate and necessary process changes and improvements which are required to reduce environmental impacts to the levels needed for Eco-label registration;3.Setting targets to reduce these impacts and achieve the Eco-label and4.Influence our downstream supply chain so that i'greeningi their operations will have benefits for all parties in the supply chain.MSVC want to be in a position to ensure consumers that:1.They are buying an officially approved i'greeni product which entails environmentally sustainable consumption of resources and2.The manufacture of products can be undertaken with a respect for the environment.MSVC anticipate that manufacturing and process costs can be reduced due to more conscious efforts to reduce energy intake to define resources and reduce output of hazardous or excessive waste.
