Project Abstract

There have been two reports into the Seafood Processing sector which have identified the need for improvements in the overall environmental management systems of the sector to ensure they remain sustainability and competitive. The projects aim is to reduce the sectors overall environmental costs and improve competitiveness of the Irish Seafood Processing Sector. To deliver an awareness and training program to the seafood processing sector on the need for a cleaner, greener seafood image to sustain and develop new markets. The project and results will be promoted by BIM through an award system for cleaner, greener seafood production.
