Project Abstract
The environmental benefits would include: the conservation of raw materials and energy; a reduction in toxicity and pollution prevention and waste production especially hazardous waste; an improvement in environmental performance; the development of material circularity metrics and KPIs; the testing of a construction SME circular building business model; and the development of an innovative industry-focused flexible training and behavioural change programme, which will be transferable across the sector. The economic benefits will result from improved competitiveness and environmental performance that will be measured on a project-by-project basis with all initiatives and KPIs costed to provide a transferable evidence-based cost-benefit framework.
