Project Abstract

The aims of this project are to develop a new spatial statistical risk model for indoor radon exposure in Ireland and to produce an updated Radon Risk Map. We aim to contribute significantly to the international understanding of indoor radon levels through the development of new statistical models. This project will identify the at-risk homes with better accuracy than has been possible before. This will provide the EPA with a more informative picture as to where radon remediation services should be focused, in order to reduce deaths from radon.
