We actively promote, participate in and facilitate the participation in a number of international programmes.
Horizon Europe is Europe’s main instrument for funding research and development and will run from 2021–2027 with a budget of c. €95 billion.
Five Missions Areas have been identified. A mission is a portfolio of actions across disciplines intended to achieve a bold, inspirational and measurable goal within a set timeframe, with impact for society and policy making, as well as relevance for a significant part of the European population and wide range of European citizens.
The EPA is involved as National Expert as well as National Contact Point for the Horizon Europe Clusters 5 and 6
