The 2020-2022 average nitrate concentration exceeded 37.5 mg/l NO3 at 11 (6%) monitoring sites and exceeded the drinking water standard of 50 mg/l NO3 at two (1%) monitoring sites.
One-fifth (20%) of monitoring sites had nitrate concentrations greater than 25 mg/l NO3 (considered as a high nitrate concentration).
