Bus:

Dublin Bus provides several routes connecting the city center to the Clonskeagh area, where McCumiskey House is located.

  • Nearest Stop: The closest bus stop is on Clonskeagh Road, a short 5-minute walk from McCumiskey House. This stop can be accessed as follows:
    • From Dublin City Center: Take Bus 11 from O’Connell Street.
    • From Liffey Valley or Crumlin: Take Bus S4, which offers direct service to the area.

  • N11 Bus stops, 10-15 mins walk away:  these bus stops (772,760) are served by multiple bus routes including 39A, E1,E2, 133, X1 and X2

DART:

If you’re traveling by DART, the nearest station to McCumiskey House is Sydney Parade, located approximately 2.5 km away.

  • By Car: The journey takes about 10 minutes.
  • By Bike: A bike ride takes around 15 minutes.
  • On Foot: It’s a 32-minute walk.

For those preferring to take a bus:

  • Walk approximately 7 minutes from Sydney Parade to the nearest bus stop.
  • Take Bus 27x or Bus 47, which will bring you within a 19-minute walk of McCumiskey House.
Train (From Other Cities):

If you’re traveling to EPA Dublin from another city, the main train stations are:

  • Connolly Station:
    From Connolly Station, take the Luas Green Line southbound to Milltown or Ranelagh and walk to McCumiskey House. Alternatively, you can use a Dublin Bus route or take a taxi directly from the station.

 

  • Heuston Station:
    From Heuston Station, take the Luas Red Line to Connolly Station and transfer to the Luas Green Line, or opt for a direct Dublin Bus route or taxi to McCumiskey House.
Luas: 

The nearest Luas line to McCumiskey House is the Green Line, offering quick access from Dublin city center.

  • From St. Stephen's Green: Board the Luas southbound.
    o    To Milltown: McCumiskey House is a 1.7 km walk (~24 minutes).
    o    To Ranelagh: McCumiskey House is a 2.6 km walk (~30 minutes).

Bike:

Cycling to McCumiskey House is a convenient and eco-friendly option:

  • From St. Stephen's Green: Several Dublin Bike stations are located nearby. The ride to McCumiskey House is approximately 3–4 km, taking about 15–20 minutes.
  • Using Bleeper Bikes: Check the Bleeper app for bike availability near the office, as this area allows bike drop-offs.

Walking:

McCumiskey House is approximately 4.6 km from St. Stephen’s Green, which takes around 59 minutes on foot.

Car:

There are limited parking spaces available near McCumiskey House. Note: Permit parking is in operation during UCD semester periods. If you are driving to our Dublin offices, please consider carpooling to reduce the number of vehicles.
