Bus:
Wexford Bus operates a bus route from Wexford to Kilmore Quay (390 Route) six times daily and includes a stop at the Johnstown Castle Estate.
The first bus servicing Johnstown Castle Estate departs from Redmond Square Mon-Fri at 08:25 am arriving on the grounds at 08:40 am. Cash or Leap Cards are accepted on the buses. Full details and timetables can be found here. The EPA office is a 5-minute walk from the Estate bus stop.
Train:
The nearest train station is located in Wexford town. The main route to Wexford by train is the Dublin/Rosslare route. Full details and timetable can be found here.
Bike:
We have sheltered bicycle parking on-site with bike repair station, adjacent to the building. It is ~8kms from Wexford town train station to EPA HQ, which will take approximately 25-30 mins to get here if you choose to cycle.
Walking:
The nearest town is Wexford town, which is ~8kms, and it takes approx. 1.5 hrs to walk.
Car:
We have several parking spaces for EPA visitors. This includes accessible parking and a network of six electric vehicle charging stations. If you are visiting the EPA with colleagues by car, please consider carpooling.
