Behavioural insight is a foundation of the EPA’s Circular Economy Programme, providing evidence to inform policy, to inform behavioural change interventions and to inform awareness campaigns.
The EPA contracted Behaviour & Attitudes (B&A) to provide baseline information on the Irish public’s behaviours & attitudes to plastic and plastic waste. The fieldwork for the online surveys of nationally representative samples of adults ages 16+ was carried out in October 2019, December 2020 and December 2021.
